Yep the new site is almost done.
Here is the link to the site. It is not done yet and there are still some bugs to work out and content to upload. But this will give you a good idea of what to expect. So please let me know what you think.

Faith Week

This week is the 1st week of local outreach. That means a couple things. 1st that they are almost through the lecture phase and 2nd that God is going to be working and directing them and reveling Him self to them a lot a new in this week. They should be returning This Friday or the latest by Saturday evening. So soon we should have some of the testimonies of the students! So please check back soon.

DTS Adventure

We are now closing the 1st full week of the DTS. Things have been great. This weekend is there first challenge as a group. We are shipping them out to a local hiking trail park and for the weekend they will have to work as a team and learn how to listen to God and follow His leading.

Fall DTS

Our fall DTS is about to begin in a couple of weeks September 14th. We are all very excited for the students and what God is going to do in their lives but also all those around.

DTS Graduation

The DTS has come to an end. This past Friday at the Bellbrook House of Prayer was the graduation of Abbi Riggs and Jessica Cabeza. It has been a good school, but it definitely had it's challenges.

Back in the U.S.

The DTS is back in Dayton Ohio. We arrived early this morning.

Buenos Aires

We just arrived into Buenos Aires. We are at the YWAM base downtown that is focused on the goverment. We will be a couple of days then head over to the main base Ituzangu.
Michelle will be headed back to Ohio tomarrow evening.

Mendoza

We made it back to Mendoza safetly. We all have so many stories of how God was with us and watched out for us. We walked alot but it was good. It brought tru meaning to pesadas de vida ¨foot steps of life¨ We will be at the YWAM Mandoza base for the rest of the week speadking at youth groups, churches, working at food kitchens and more. We will be leaving in 2 Mondays for Buenos Aires.

El Campo

It was a long trip but we arrived safe to Mendoza.
We are headed out to the El Campo this friday and will be gone for 8 days. There will be 2 of the YWAM Mendoza staff members going with us that are from there and then meet up with 2 other girls later out their.
We all are getting better at understanding and speaking spanish so that is good. The girls are getting adjusted and are really like it here. They all like Matè know. A local tea drink.

We will be here for the next several weeks. The 18th of May. We are leaving tomorrow!

We made it.

YWAM NALC Estes Sparks, Colorado

Today we have a group of 3 head to the NALC (North American Leadership Conference). Shane Jette, Ruth Sapp and Ron Wende are driving over to Colorado for the conference. It is a great time to network and spread the vision and what is GOd doing in the US and through YWAM.

Argentina DTS Outreach

Tomorrow after noon the DTS will be head down to Argentina.
We will first be at an orphanage Hogar del Rey for 1 week. Then we will take a touring bus across the country to Mendoza, were we will be there for 3 weeks. We plan on going to to reach out to the El Campo peolpe for one week then minister around the base. Then lastly we will head back across the country to Buenos Aires were were we will be for 3 weeks. At the begining of the time Michelle one of the team leaders will be headed back to Ohio 2 1/2 weeks early. So that would leave Abbi Riggs, Jessica Cabeza and Phillip McCutcheon.
We will be arriving back to Ohio the 6th of June. The next week to follow is the debreifing and graduation from the DTS.

April 7th

We only have 2 weeks till we are down in Argentina. We are almost ready. A couple of us are still waiting on the rest of our support to come in, but getting super excited.

3/3/09 Update

Hi,

It has been a while since I have updated the blog but much has happened. Here is just a little bit.

In Feb. we lost one of our students. She died of a heart attach from a blood clot that formed in here leg. It came as a surprise to all of us, but He has been really been doing something.

We are in week 8 and everyone has been learning new things. I can not go in detail, but I will give a couple of stories. Like revival come when people are dissatisfied w/ the status quow and why do we do what we always do! Love is a CHOICE that we make to prompt the highest good of God, our self's and others. We are called to do what Jesus did. His purpose. To spread the gospel which is the Kingdom of God (good news). Salvation is necessary and a pre-recuseit to fulfilling the Great commandment and Commission. To love the Lord your God w/ all your heart soul mind and strength. and your neighbor as yourself!

Your International outreach is moving right along. We are getting the tickets tomorrow and the plans are being set to what God is leading us to do through His Holy Spirit. We also will be going on a week of faith for the 1st week of our local outreach. That means we will be on team that will have a car, back pack per person $10 to spent and have a radius of 600mi. around Ohio. It will be a great week to see God move in our midst and build our faith.

As some of you may know the DTS started last week. During late we were really blessed with having the Call2All here in Dayton Ohio. So all last week we where at the Call2All. GOd is really doing something here in Dayton.  

At the Call there where speakers from Loren Cunningham (YWAM), Mark Anderson (IWT), Steve Douglass (Campus Crusade for Christ), Lou Engle (Call), Paul Eshleman (Jesus Film Project), Eddie James(IHOP) worship, Allen Hood (IHOP), Stuawrt Gravis (IHOP), Daniel Lim (IHOP) and Avery Willis (International Orality Network).

It was a very powerful time of intercession, partnerships and planning of the great commission.

Next week we will official start with the normal schedule and lectures.
